Britney Spears Debuts Self-Designed Clothing Line for Candie’s

If you’ve ever wanted to dress like Britney Spears, here’s your chance. The latest celebrity to add “fashion designer” to her resume, Britney Spears collaborated on a new back-to-school-themed line for Candie’s, which will hit Kohl’s stores and kohls.com on July 1.

This juniors collection, dubbed Britney for Candie’s, consists lot of comfy basics including skinny and boyfriend jeans, leggings featuring a little embellishment near ankles, lace crop-tops, denim vests, beaded cotton tanks and tees. That’s not the end folks! Collection also includes fancier tiered-petal blouses, gray faux-leather motorcycle jacket, a black trench, black miniskirts and leather bags with metal stud details, fitted corset top, striped sweaters, and animal-print T-shirt dresses. Phew!!

Wait.. Wait..The line also features shoes such as platform pumps and fold-over booties, as well as long drop necklaces too. There’s something for everyone in this Britney for Candie’s Collection.

Spears, who has been company’s face for three seasons, said that the design process included providing ideas on her favorite styles to Candie’s team, who then produced sketches that pop star contributed to. She said, “I used a lot of studs and lace, because I wanted to make the clothes cool and edgy yet girlie. I also love jeans, so I had to make sure there were some great pairs in the collection. And I love jewelry so there are a lot of fun pieces. There are great necklaces and big earrings.

As for her favorite piece from this collection, the 28-yr old pop star says the prize goes to “Black Trench“. She also liked studded skirt and cute little dresses.
